FIU’s Black Alumni Panther Community will facilitate the creation of a professional and social network for black and afro-Caribbean alumni of FIU. Our primary focus is to assist in the recruitment and retention of black and afro-Caribbean students by providing mentorships and, if possible, internship opportunities. Some of our past events include Black Alumni Weekend, business professional networking, career fairs and happy hours, and we are continuously adding to our calendar.
