Apply to be a 2015 TEDxFIU speaker today!

Applications are now open for the 2015 TEDxFIU. Faculty, students and alumni are encouraged to apply to take the stage and share their great idea during our live event on Nov. 5 at the Wertheim Performing Arts Center.

The theme for TEDxFIU 2015 is Always Forward, a nod to the future. As FIU celebrates 50 years since its founding, the University is seeking speakers and entertainers that remind us of the importance of thinking forward and, more importantly, of paying it forward.

There are two elements that have propelled the applicants to the final selection committee. One is a great idea. Research. Art. Technological innovation. Philanthropy. It should be an idea that begs to be shared with the world. The other element is more practical: Speakers need to have done something with that idea or have a body of work that demonstrates their authority on the idea. Watch some of last year’s TEDxFIU talks here.

The deadline for all applications is March 27.
