On Thursday, February 26, the FIU Alumni Association partnered with The College of Architecture + The Arts (CARTA) to host a Networking Happy Hour at MIA Bruhaus Taproom owned by one of our proud CARTA alumni, Eddie Leon. 

FIU alumni, members and guests had the opportunity to “tap” into their Panther Network, while enjoying an amazing craft beer selection, delicious food and great service.  With over 30 attendees, our alumni had the opportunity to network with each other, learn “what’s on tap” and take advantage of the quality handcrafted beer and comfort food.

Despite having just opened its doors a few days before our event, the MIA Brewing Co. was an integral part of our success, as they sponsored the handcrafted beer provided all evening and warmly welcomed our guests! 

We appreciate the relationship we have with the MIA Brewing team and CARTA, and we were happy to overhear that MIA Bruhaus Taproom is now the preferred watering-hole for many of our alumni.
