Football Game Day Information and Season-Long Promotions

PANTHER TAILGATING

Alumni & general fan tailgating is allowed in all parking lots across FIU campus; however, reserved tailgating stalls are available in designated lots on a season-long or single-game basis in Lot 7, located to the west of Riccardo Silva Stadium, or the general tailgating areas including the Diamond Lot, Nature Trail and Panther Trail.

Students may tailgate in Lot 6, located to the east of Riccardo Silva Stadium, or the general tailgating areas including the Diamond Lot, Nature Trail and Panther Trail.

Each tailgate will be allowed one (1) parking spot within the lot. All of the tailgating lots require reservations and will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Tailgating without a reservation will be permitted but will be assigned on game day dependent on lot/trail availability.

GEICO TAILGATER OF THE GAME

Panther fans are famous for their tailgates. Now’s the time to show us what you can do! Take a photo of your tailgate, tell us your location and tag it with #GEICOtailgateFIU. Our Geico Tailgate Patrol will be on the lookout for you, as they search for the weekly Geico Tailgater of the Game.

The winning tailgate will receive a Visa gift card and FIU Panthers gear.

 

PANTHER WALK

New to the 2017 season, join Roary, the FIU Marching Band, and the Panther Spirit Squads alongside the Parkview Plaza streets to welcome the team to Riccardo Silva Stadium on game day. Butch Davis and your FIU Panthers will enter the stadium promptly two hours before kickoff. We recommend getting there 30 minutes prior, in order to get a good spot!

 

PANTHER FUN ZONE

Fun for all ages, our newly created Panther Fun Zone features interactive stations in Parkview Plaza, located across the street on the north side of Riccardo Silva Stadium. Featured interactive stations include: Fun Slide, Rascal Challenge Obstacle Course, QB Blitz, Bounce House and more.  Other activities include FIU Alumni gatherings, giveaways and samples from FIU Athletics corporate partners, and more.

Panther Fun Zone is free to all fans and is open four (4) hours before kickoff.

 

PANTHERLAND CONCERT SERIES

Located in the Student Tailgate Zone in Lot 6, the Pantherland Concert Series features a different local celebrity DJ artist each week.  Featured artists include: DJs Jessica Who, Konflikt, Crespo, Joe Maz, Obscene & Anthony Pisano. Panther Concert Series begins four (4) hours before kickoff.

PRE-GAME BAND AND SPIRIT TEAM PERFORMANCE

20 minutes prior to kickoff, settle into your seats at Riccardo Silva Stadium as your FIU Marching Band and FIU Spirit Teams perform before your Panthers football team takes the field.

This exclusive Meet & Greet will take place in the north concourse of Riccardo Silva Stadium beginning one hour before kickoff. Photographs are welcome. Scheduled to appear are the Transformers (Optimus Prime and Bumble Bee), Gekko, Peppa Pig, Elmo, Ninja Turtles, Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Moana, Elena of Avalor, Batman, Superman, Spiderman, Power Rangers (Green) & Minions.
