FIU is truly a unique and special place. FIU gives diversity a whole new meaning. The quality and richness of the student body is truly amazing.

What advice would you give to a potential donor who is considering investing in FIU?
FIU attracts students from all walks of life. Donating to FIU means opening doors for future generations to have a chance at a successful future.

Where has life taken you since graduating from FIU?
FIU opened many opportunities for me. I attended law school, and now head the Office of Admissions at the University of Maryland School of Law. I am actively involved in my local State and Hispanic Bars, as well as the Law School Admission Council.

How did FIU prepare you to get where you are professionally?
FIU gave me the chance to be able to prove my academic potential and opened the doors to my future career. Most importantly, FIU provided me with mentors and friends for a lifetime.

What advice would you give to students and young alumni?
Seek opportunities to go beyond what you think is possible and do not forget the community that shaped who you will become.
