Over the last 35 years, CARNAVAL MIAMI has made it possible for the members of the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana (KCLH) to accomplish service programs in the community, in addition to educational and health projects, and community goodwill programs. 14 of the 35 pageant winners are amazing alumnae of FIU!
Thanks to a very proud KLCH member, FIU employee and two-time Panther, Cristina Estevez, ’03, ’06, Miss Carnaval Miami 2016 has partnered with the FIU Alumni Association. Among other prizes, this year’s Miss Carnaval Miami will be eligible to receive scholarship funds, media exposure and entry into the Miss Florida Pageant. Miss Carnaval will be crowned at Carnaval Miami 2016 and will participate in other events, such as Carnaval on the Mile and Calle Ocho.
