The FIU Alumni Association is making strategic changes to evolve our alumni programming and become more aligned with the priorities of the university. Effective immediately, all graduates will be part of the FIU Alumni Association. We are no longer operating under a membership fees structure. All of our 215,000 alumni will be privy to all the perks and services we offer as an Alumni Association.
This organizational change will be seamless to active annual and lifetime members. We will continue to provide you with unique benefits and the same access to alumni events, programs, and publications to which you are accustomed. As an added value to you, your membership will now be counted as a charitable gift, which is tax deductible. You are now official donors of the university!
As an added bonus, our dedicated paid lifetime members will be amongst the first to be recognized as FIU Forever Panthers donors. Your benefits will be expanding to include:
- Priority registration and reduced pricing at special events
- Donor recognition inside the FIU Magazine
- Special edition 12-month desktop calendar
- Affiliation with like-minded professionals and special invitations to exclusive events
