This summer is going to be packed with fun, excitement and a commitment from the Turtle Thomas Youth Baseball Camp team to give children the best experience possible on the baseball field!

The camp will cover infield, outfield, pitching, catching and, of course, hitting. The campers will be separated by age in order to maximize each campers experience. There will also be a pool day and three slip and slides for a fun way to teach the campers about sliding. The campers will learn about the pop up slide, the head first slide and most importantly, how to slide at home plate to prevent injury.Everyday, the team will go over proper throwing and hitting mechanics, as well as play games.

Camp runs weekly from July 8 through July 17, Monday through Friday and is available for all ages. It will take place at the FIU Baseball Stadium and the cost is $225 per week; $125 per week for half day sessions (8 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.) and there’s a 10% discount for families of two of more.

This year, camp will be 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. each week day with early drop off at 7 a.m. and late pick up at 5 p.m.
