What does FIU mean to her: Chuck and I moved to Miami in 1969 when FIU was but a gleam in our eyes. Chuck said he would see me and our children in 3 years while the university was planned and built by his team. We were in our late 20s and early 30s and it is a miracle, the beginning and its evolution to 2015. Another 50 years into infinity will bring many more miracles.
