Why she joined the FIU Alumni Association: I joined as a student to keep up to date and to take advantage of networking opportunities. When I graduated I became a lifetime member to stay connected to my university.

What does FIU mean to her: FIU is the place where I really became who I am today. There were so many opportunities for me to grow and thrive. It kept me connected to the community as well as connected personally while I worked on my degree. I met some amazing people there, made some great friends, met my wonderful fiancé and got pretty far into where I want to be in the world. I couldn’t have done it without FIU.
