Natalie joined the FIU Student Ambassadors in Spring of 2015. She has served as President and Director of New Member Education for the organization. Natalie is in the Honors College and is part of the Advanced Research and Creativity in Honors program. She was selected to present her independent research at the 2018 National Conference on Undergraduate Research at the University of Central Oklahoma. Natalie is also a research assistant in the Developmental Psychobiology Lab.
She works as a Learning Assistant for the Chemistry and Psychology Departments, using her knowledge on the subjects to help students in the classroom. Recently, she was inducted into the Golden Key International Honour Society. Natalie is among a selected few pre-medical students that will be part of the Doctors of Tomorrow program at the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. She is part of the Pre-Medical Undergraduate Mentoring Program with HWCOM and the MEDS Club. Natalie started the Loving Sole Mission to San Juan de Lurigancho, Peru in 2015. She is currently a Biology major with a minor in Psychology. Her future plans are to attend medical school and work for the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
