Brandon Aquino


Brandon is a Senior and Biology major who matriculated Fall 2015. He has been a Proud Panther since the beginning and attributes his love of FIU to Panther Camp in which he was a Nitro, and to the FIU Student Ambassador Program. He joined the FIU Student Ambassador program in Spring 2015 and currently serves as its President after previously serving as its Vice President of Membership and Development for 2 years. He works to educate students on the importance of philanthropy and developing a love of alma mater. His favorite special event is the FIU tradition, Trail of the Torch.

He is also a Senator for the College of Arts, Science, and Education for the Student Government Association of MMC where he works to advocate for the needs of the student body, and oversight of the annual budget. He currently is an administrator at the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons (SLS) and a technical editor for JSLS and CRSLS, the society’s leading journals. He has plans to attend medical school. He has two Morkies named Zohan and Spencer.
