During this special time of year, alumni are invited to donate non-perishable goods to the FIU Student Food Pantry.

Where do I take my food donation during the drive?

FIU alumni can stop by the FIU Graham Center Welcome Desk (right by the front doors) to drop off all donations of non-perishable items. When dropping off, they will ask you to sign in, so we can track how many alumni stop by to contribute.

Where do I park?

To make your drop off easier, please park at the metered parking found in the Gold Garage or Lot 3. The most convenient university entrance is off SW 107 Avenue and 16 Street. You can view a campus map here.

What if I can’t make it to the Modesto Maidique campus?

How many students access the Food Pantry?

In 2016-2017, the food pantry was accessed 1,300 times and more than 10,000 pounds of food were donated.

Who can use the pantry?
The pantry is available to all currently enrolled students. No proof of need is required and students can access the pantry once a week taking 7-10 pounds of food each visit.

Can I donate at the Biscayne Bay Campus?

This specific drive is only being hosted at the Modesto Maidique Campus until December 5, but donations can be accepted at Healthy Living Program's office (WUC 307) at BBC and the Center for Leadership and Service offices on both campuses (MMC-GC242; BBC-WUC353) throughout the year. Please be sure to call for office hours.
