Nadine "Nada" Matas is currently pursuing her MS in Higher Education Administration at FIU while working as the Graduate Assistant for Alumni Career Development. In her role, she assists in professional development programming, career coaching, and with organizing Panther Alumni Week. She is an FIU alumna (‘17) who completed dual degrees in English and Asian Studies, a minor in Religious Studies, and two certificates, one in Spirituality and the other in Film Studies. She was deeply involved on campus since arriving to FIU in Fall 2013. Her involvements included being on the executive boards of the Council for Student Organizations, Geek Culture Club, Sigma Tau Delta English Honors Society, and Storyteller's Club. Currently she holds positions as Vice President of Professional Development for the Student Affairs Graduate Association and as a Graduate School Senator for the Student Government Association. Her previous employments encompasses several areas on campus, including the Controllers Office’s Credit Card Solutions department and FIU Student Media. Nada has been with Alumni Relations and Annual Giving since August 2017.
