Matt Atkins serves as the Special Events and Outreach Manager for the Office of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving. As the “events guru” Matt manages and consults on the planning and execution of the events hosted by the FIU Alumni Association including the Torch Awards Gala, the Fishing Tournament and Block Party, the Annual Cocktail Reception, the Panther Fan Tailgates and more!
Matt attended FIU as an undergraduate student where he was involved with student life and programs such as Orientation, Housing and Residential Life, Homecoming and Sorority and Fraternity Life. A Proud Panther, Matt graduated with his bachelor’s from FIU in 2016 and began working with the Alumni Association that fall.
