SAA Fashion Police

The SAA Fashion Police are out to change the wardrobe of FIU. OUT with the University of Miami, Florida Gators and other school paraphernalia and IN with showing their FIU spirit and pride! Student Alumni Association members walk the campus halls and ticket those students found wearing clothing from other schools. The ticket provides the student with a 10% discount to purchase FIU clothing at the FIU Bookstore.

Students can subsequently come to the Office of Alumni Relations located at MARC 510 wearing their FIU clothing to receive a free gift. The Fashion Police also provides a free gift to any student who is wearing FIU clothing and showing their Panther Pride.

To date, the Fashion Police have handed out over 100 tickets to students. "The program is having an impact! Students see that there are other students on campus who care about spirit and pride and are willing to do something about it," said Sabrina Mendez, SAA Fashion Police Coordinator.

Watch for the Fashion Police on campus, you just might be there next target! The SAA Fashion Police is organized and sponsored by the Student Alumni Association.
