Media Account Executive/New Business Developer

We are looking for a media account executive/new business developer to cover business in South Florida (mainly Miami/Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties). The person in this position will sell national and regional sponsorship campaigns, working directly with corporate executives as well as with media/advertising agencies. Our clients include most of the Fortune 100 and hundreds of leading, recognizable consumer brands.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop corporate and agency accounts based in the South Florida market. Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
• Create successful sales strategies for Metro Networks' products and services. Execute and close business.
• Prepare and present proposals, and recommend solutions based on customer marketing goals, objectives and needs.
• Communicate how our advertising platform can help achieve marketing goals and provide solutions.

Job Requirements

• BA with a minimum of 2-5 years of strategic sales, marketing or business development experience. Previous work in media sales is preferred but not required.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop strong and cooperative working relationships with key internal and external constituencies.
• Knowledge of account management and consultative selling.
• Work out of our Miami office (located near I-95/Palmetto Expressway junction).
