Who makes up the SAA Executive Council?
The President (Lynn Guery) is responsible for supervising and leading the Executive Council and all SAA members. The president oversees all activities and programs of SAA by implementing and monitoring the goals of the organization. The president takes ultimate responsibility for actions of SAA, represents SAA among university administration, offices and other campus organizations. She leads the effort to connect SAA affairs to the plan of the organization.
The Vice President of Marketing is responsible for all public relations and marketing for SAA. In addition, they are also responsible for coordinating the evaluation of all SAA programs. The VP coordinates recruitment for all SAA members, drafts, edits, and submits press releases promoting SAA events.
The Vice President of Communication (Oriana) is responsible for managing all of the internal operations of SAA. He coordinates SAA recognitions and awards, develops an end-of-the-year yearbook for SAA, and keeps the office nice and neat.
The Vice Presidents of SAA Membership (Onil Maruri) are responsible for coordinating the Student Alumni Association (SAA) membership program. They coordinate marketing efforts for SAA, coordinate benefits and discounts, promote and put together all SAA events (BBQs, T-shirt days, etc…).
