PERRY YOUNG ALUMNI VISIONARY AWARD is granted to a Florida International University graduate, age 39 or younger at time of nomination, for significant contributions to their field of endeavor early on in their career and who have developed imaginative methods and programs, displayed leadership and development of leadership in others, and will have established harmonious professional relationships. THE COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP AWARD is granted to a Florida International University graduate, for exemplary service and civic involvement in their community and/or to humanity as a leader. For criteria and selection procedures click here.
THE OUTSTANDING FACULTY AWARD is granted to a Florida International University retired, previous or current faculty member who have distinguished themselves by obtaining a high level of accomplishment and who possess high standards of integrity and character to positively reflect and enhance the prestige of Florida International University. It is awarded on the basis of the total accomplishments of the faculty member, with special emphasis on the faculty member’s relationships with students. THE DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI AWARD is granted by the Florida International University Alumni Association on behalf of the Schools or Colleges to a Florida International University graduate. Deans of each School/College choose the recipient based on their high level of accomplishment in business or professional life or for distinguished human service to their communtiy, state, or nation.
